Conceptions And Misconceptions About Clapping Of Hands In Celestial Church

December 12, 2017 / Alonge Michael / Youth Arena / 8 Comments »

Clapping of hands in Celestial Church of Christ shouldn’t be a subject for argument as it is clearly not part of our doctrine. But then, some of our Celestial Church brethren have come up with a good ideology on why we shouldn’t clap our hands, on the other hand, there’s an argument against it.

EXPLANATION GIVEN AGAINST CLAPPING OF HANDS IN CCC

Celestial Church people don’t clap during service because we worship in the highest realm.

Clapping is spiritually for the least realm hence the reason some denominations need clapping to call upon the spirit of God.

Celestial Church is the highest realm of the spirit and as such we move to the seventh heaven when we call the three names at the entrance of the church.

Our procession into the house of God simplifies the accessing of the heavens until the conductor reaches the main altar which symbolises the seventh heaven (the throne of Abba).

We have people who argue this, but it is unarguable because it is a spiritual truth. Take it to the Holy spirit and He will explain to you.

Spiritual truth is highly not debatable, hence we don’t argue it but tell people to ask the spirit of truth to testify to it.

OBJECTION TO THE EXPLANATION GIVEN

The essence of clapping in other denominations is not to bring down the spirit sir,  the claps are just to add to the beat, if you happen to have attended a Pentecostal church once, you will  discover for yourself that for anyone that doesn’t have anything at hand to play like cleft, cymbals etc.. they clap their hands.

Their general belief is that it’s good to praise God with instruments just like King David, anyone that doesn’t have one claps his/her hands.

#CNO’s TAKE ON THIS

There is virtually no Celestial Church without instrument of praise and worship, no matter how small the parish is, hence there is no need for clapping of hands.

Clapping is biblical. Psalms 47:1,isaiah 55:12,psalm 98:8,clapping is also a means of worship.ezekiel 21:7 was so particular about the power in clapping. All what the Lord need from us is a worship in spirit and truth. God bless his church

    Alleluia sir, the editor.
I wrote the little piece on Clapping in CCC and I expected you to get across to me before posting this as a news so as to avoid argument but nay you didn’t. However, it is important I correct something given as many already called me to seek for an answer to what a brother said on clapping as a sign of praising God in other denominations.

I will advice the editor to get in touch with me for the answer given to the question being asked and the ongoing argument on it.

May God of SBJO bless our understanding in Jesus name.

Darlington please if you have your way to take away all the instruments pls leave The Keyboard and 🎷 🎶 Saxophone…..May God Help the church

  6. Tola says:

It is very correct that CCC as a church don’t engage clapping during service and as many parishes that have been engaging this act should do the needful. However. I don’t subscribe to the idea of comparing one denomination with another in the area of what/how they do worship thereby making one church appear superior to the other.

  7. Olomoplenty DARLINGTON 1 says:

I just can’t stop laughing at the explanation of 7th heaven and least Churches needs claping to bring the Spirit down WONDERFUL!!!

So the Service Conducture that poked and drank to stupor Saturday Night will lead us to the Holies of Abba!!! Whaoo!!!…….

I can agree to the writter’s explanation if PAPA happened to still be around in Flesh.

NOW HERE THIS PLAIN TRUTH & FACTS; IF I HAVE MY WAY, NOTHING LIKE INSTRUMENT SHOULD BE ALLOWED IN CCC AGAIN BECAUSE THEY HAVE USED THEM TO CREATE A PODIUM FOR LUCIFER & HIS AGENTS IN 98% PARISHES,

THE INSTRUMENTALIST GOES CRAZY, THE SINGERS SINGS FOR SATAN WHILE MEMBERS DANCED THEIR WAYS TO HELL.

CCC HYMNS ARE SOLEMN AND SPIRITUAL BUT WE HAVE BASTERDISED EVERYTHING ALL IN THE NAME OF TRENDY, VOGUE & HARVEST….I BETTER STOP HERE KI NTO FOGBA YANGA JOOR….. SHAME SHAME SHAME.

I concur to your analysis sir/ma, I think it is not yet late for these our fathers and leaders now to really put things in place before this our wick generation turned the church of CHRIST to something else. Worshing in CCC is a solemn one , so we have to worship through the solemn ways that it has been given to us..As for me as a person, if I have my way,all songs during worship in CCC will be from the hymns even during the thanksoffering & collections..God doesn’t change according to the scriptures but only men changes and want to help God with their futile knowledge & wisdom..
