Imeko, Eleko, Ajashe: What’s This Chaos All About?

December 30, 2017 / Alonge Michael / Uncategorized / 2 Comments »

I’m for Paul or you are for Apollo shouldn’t even be a subject of discussion amongst us. I can’t imagine members of this great church engaging in cyber bullying over Imeko, Eleko and Ajasha. How will this three bring salvation to the world through us?

Maybe someone needs to read this, 1st Corinthians 3:3-4 “…for you are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and dissension among you, are you not worldly? Are you not walking in the way of man? For when one of you says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere men?…What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his role.”

It’s a known fact Imeko is the Celestial city as proposed by the late founder himself and it’s also in the constitution that Republic of Benin is the origin or the church while Ketu and Makoko remain International and national Headquarters respectively. What then is the issue here?

If anyone decides to go out of his or her way to erect a new place where to meet people for prayers, counseling or anointing impartation, is that not an addition to the church? Are people around that vicinity not seeing the glory of Celestial Church of Christ? I think we need to start flushing our system off things that do not really matter.

This same problem the church is faced with today is what the country, Nigeria is equally witnessing at the moment. You see men and women of valour who are supposed to use their precious time and talent to do something meaningful to affect their generation or environment but alas, they are busy discussing innuendoes and seriously abusing themselves on social media over another person’s opinion or stand.

When are we really going to be identified with the word CELESTIAL? Will these nasty attitudes of us take us to heaven? It’s really sad; change is the only thing that can salvage this situation. It’s about time we change our mindset brethren!

If we truely wants to put things in order, then all this issue of pastorial of a thing needs to be stopped because this is what is destroying the image of the church. To be the HEAD of a great and spiritual church like celestial church of christ takes a great sacrifice and humility. Let us all remember that a head is the shepherd of his/her flocks and not to embezzled the church. I urgely advice us that the church remains thesame but we the worshippers should serve and obey God deligently and we should try to comeback as ONE. Only with this, all blemish words people are saying about CCC will be erased. Thanks
