Many people actually think that it’s women folks alone that are disallowed to enter the tabernacle of God when they are experiencing their monthly flow. In fact, the men in the altar have so many things attached to that law but they dare not discuss about the Levitical laws that forbid them too not to come close to the tabernacle.
Modern women are baffled by how we men like to discourse the topic of their menses in public; harvest, Sunday and etc. But, what did God say about men’s body discharge? We should address both. I know 99% of men in the church knows nothing about this passage.
“The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, when any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean. And this is the law of his uncleanness for a discharge: whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body is blocked up by his discharge, it is his uncleanness. Every bed on which the one with the discharge lies shall be unclean, and everything on which he sits shall be unclean. And anyone who touches his bed shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening.” Leviticus 15:1-33
Understandably, men’s discharge is semen, it’s slightly going to be hard for a man to discharge in the church except of course someone who is suffering from disease of the brain or infected with staphylococcus, STD etc but most men don’t know this Levitical law. They just appear in church on Sunday with full regalia after a wild weekend.
What should be done concerning them too? How well is the church hammering on their own uncleanliness too? At least, what is good for the goose, they say, is equally good for the gander.
