Omission Of Names On Envelope Causes Uproar…Province Says No Rift!

November 11, 2017 / Alonge Michael / Saints & Sinners / 3 Comments »

The fact that many people are saying we shouldn’t write about what highbrow raising issues about the church has really made #CNO to be cautious about what we put out for our valued readers to read lately, but the truth is that, if we fail to readdress these issues and other people outside this fold feed on it, the narrative becomes different?

Many acts of our members/shepherds have seriously ridiculed the authority of Celestial Church of Christ and we really need to start building a solid structure that will enjoin each and every member of the church to think of nothing but the advancement of the church.

Why #CNO is putting this up is that, some of the members of the Parish, Ebenezeri at Akute have threatened to engage the media massively tomorrow should the Province head goes ahead with his threat of bringing tax force to stop them from carrying out their annual adult harvest.

But a call to Sup. Evang. Segun of Ominira Parish, he said the issue had been amicably resolved.

“The Shepherd really made an error in the envelop putting the pastor’s name up and church members down, that’s not the way things should go now Alonge, so, we only sent a warning letter to him but the harvest holds tomorrow, it was just a minor issue…” he said.

Our advice to the warring parties is to sheath their swords and give room for a dialogue that will lead to amicable resolution of the matter for Christ sake because the name of the church might be the one to suffer it should things go unlawfully wrong.

THE TRUTH MUST BE TOLD AT ALL TIMES EVEN THOUGH IT IS BITTER.
“James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin”

Thank God the issue had been resolved amicably otherwise, we would have asked if the printer was that daft not to have ever printed celestial church of Christ harvest envelops before and also, when he printed this one, at least he was supposed to have peruse the works before finally bringing out the ones in question now.
At times people just want to do to others what they will never tolerate if done to them.
Anybody who thinks he can bring down the name of this church will only be bringing his own generations down.
