CCC Crises: The Power To Change The Situation Is In Our Hands

Power to me is having the ability to make a change in a positive way. Many of us in this great church have been complaining about the way our leaders are managing the affair of the church but we have failed to realise that we are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be.

Before the demise of our late founder, pastor SBJ Oshoffa, he warned us concerning the leadership of this church that it’s the Spirit that would choose who should be a pastor (I have been hearing this for more than thirty years now) but we didn’t wait for the Holy Spirit to do His work and we chose a ‘King’ by ourselves. Hosea 8:4 says “They have set up kings, but not by me; they have appointed princes, but I did not know it. With their silver and gold they have made idols for themselves that they might be cut off”

Someone commented in one of the articles on #CNO recently that it’ almost 20 years that the ‘King’ has been ruling, and that means that the ‘King’ is divinely ordained. How shallow such brains are! The ‘King’ might have been on a throne either for God to bring his sins of the past to remembrance or he’s purposely set up by God Himself like Saul to teach others about the Power of God and also to enable a David ascend the throne.

We have the power to make things happen at any given moment. We have the power to say this is not how the story should end but not when we are disunited. Without us forming an alliance, we cannot achieve a goal, so, as long as the church is not operating under one platform, making a change might be a journey of the Israelites to Canaan land.

I am convinced that knowledge is power. Power to overcome the past, to change our own situation, to fight new obstacles, to make better decisions, is all in our hands. We often convince ourselves that we cannot change, that we cannot overcome the circumstances of our lives, that, actually, is not true.

The youth of this church have been blessed with immeasurable power to make positive changes but we cannot just wish it, we cannot just hope it, we cannot just want it, we have to live it. Sometimes, our lives have to be completely shaken up, changed and rearranged to relocate us to the place we’re meant to be.

Halleluiah!!!

Point of correction, All powers belong to God. This writer sounds more like a Peoples Democratic Party spokesman, speaking against the Buhari policies. PDP vs APC. Why are you testing God? why are celestians heart sooo far away from God? Why do you impose your will on God? You play your tunes and you want God to dance to it by force? You make your bed and you want God to lay on it, why? You are just too much. The Israelites ask God to give them a king to rule over them like other nations, according to this writer money played a prominent role in the choice of the leadership of CCC. This is so pathetic in a church that has more prophets ‘voice of God’ than any other church. Now you still are imposing your wills on God, you want to force the same leadership out. When the Israelites realised their mistakes of asking for a king to rule over them, they did not forced Saul out, they did not wish him evil, they did not ask God to throw him into the dunghill, they did not impose David even though he had already being anoited to be king but rather they retraced their steps, went back to God, they asked for the forgiveness of their own sins and waited patiently for Gods will to be done. Even when David had being anointed king over Israel, he waited patiently for Gods timing to ascend the throne. Stop playing politic with God, He is a one party player, you can never have another parrallel party against Him, he has never lost before and he is not about to
lose now. If truly you accepted that you have chosen a man after your own heart and not the choice of God for His church CCC, then you go back Him, tell the truth of what really transpired during selection, thenwrong that was done, and what was Gods mind. If you have come clean with CCC world wide, then the whole church can in one voice speak to God for direction and the way forward. Let Him anoint His own David among the sons of Jesse, Stop kidding yourselves, God cannot be mocked.
