John 21:7 “Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.”
The statement that Peter was naked could just as well mean that he was naked underneath the outer garment; no fisher man would be completely naked. But he did pause to tuck it up and tie it with the girdle before jumping in, to allow himself more freedom of movement.
In any case, it seems Peter was properly attired for his labor, but needed to prepare himself before jumping into the water. He felt he needed to put on the garment with loins in order to meet his Lord in proper manner.
Coming into our fold, Celestial Church of Christ, many preachers, ministers, shepherds I see on social media and parishes will stand before God naked and would be so boastful of themselves when preaching to the people, I tell you today, you are naked before God, just as Adam and Eve were and you know what happened to them, they became outcasts. If you are a preacher, minister and you are not properly dressed for such a task, then you are not worthy to be before Him.
Remember Joshua in Zechariah 3:3, “Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and standing before the angel. He spoke and said to those who were standing before him, saying, “Remove the filthy garments from him.” He was without his loins and the Bible records his dress sense to be ‘filthy’.
Woes betide those shepherds, preachers, ministers who go naked and make the people to pray in vain.
God will not change His standard for anybody. As long as you are in this fold, it has become imperious for you to religiously follow the tenets, doctrine of the church. If you want to act in your own way and manner, no one is telling you it’s a must to be a Celestian, you can as well change your parish to Selected Church of Christ and become an authourity that you have always desired and leave the name, Celestial Church of Christ for those who are ready to honour it. 1st Corinthians 7:17.
If you want to know why you have been naked before God preaching without your loins, read this passages: 2 Samuel 6:14, 20, Mathew 22:1, James 2:2, Jude 1:23, Revelation 7:14
What we do not really understand is where they got that kind of dress sense from. Papa Oshoffa and others before us never did that, for God’s sake, who brought in this adulterated doctrine into our church? It’s obvious, end time is here, because things are already happening!
I am sure you know them by their names; mention anyone who you think does that so we can start occupying their Parishes….
I am sure the authority is looking into this area, I was informed of this at Luli that, the Authorities in Celestial will begin a sanitation exercise that will curb the excesses of the so-called preachers, shepherds, ministers etc who do things haphazardly soon. Until then, let’s continue to worship God in Spirit and Truth. Halleluiah!
