Oluwadare Michael Alabi a.k.a Biggy, the late Central choir vocalist might have died and buried but today he’s coming alive at CCC Agidingbi Cathedral, Ikeja Lagos as friends and colleagues have come together to bring all his both finished and unfinished works of arts together as Tribute to the late talent.

In a brief sent to #CNO by Omowunmi Odeyemi, the general public and Celestial Church of Christ, Worldwide are all invited to listen to many of the works the musicologist performed before his unexpected demise from this world.

“Please be there today at CCC Agidingbi parish by 10am.  Let’s show love as we gather to sing our tributes to OLUDARE Michael Alabi aka Biggy Central…a great Musicologist, trainer, Chorister and friend in CCC…..who transited to glory recently. May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace. God bless you all.”

The tribute album contributors as stated on the picture are, Seyi Solagbade, Sammy P., Olusesi, Deji Adetayo, Mowunmee Odeyemi,

The program is put together by Central choir and friends of Dare Alabi

In a chat with one of the Mowunmee Odeyemi, “We are planning to use the medium to raise funds for his family so we did a compilation of songs he recorded before his demise and also composed and jointly rendered a song as a tribute to him. We love him dearly and we really miss him a lot.  Whenever Dare entered anywhere, he lightened up the place with his jokes, laughter and teasing. His wonderful ability to train even the most unbelievable choir and singers are some of his amazing gifts we will all miss him for.

He is indeed a beloved to many Celestial Church choristers; in fact, Dare and Seyi Solagbade contributed to my personal training as a musician today. They were my ‘Egbons’ in the CCC central choir when I was still actively involved.”
