Cursing In The Temple Of God: How Did We Get Here?

May 4, 2017 / Alonge Michael / On The Spot / 5 Comments »

I was raised to think cursing makes a man look unintelligent. The Founder of Celestial Church of Christ was a true man of God, a genuine but not perfect preacher who instituted what we are all benefiting from today. Throughout the time of his evangelism, he never for once cursed or caught unrefined as a man of God.

But today, they would say ‘even Jesus cursed the tree when He couldn’t get fruit on it’. For crying out loud, what fruit are you looking for on a tree? Are you Jesus Christ?

When a church elder has stooped so low to curse his members, please tell me how the youth should regard them and what kind of leadership quality have they displayed? These are people that have their own children yet they will be reining curses on innocent souls forgetting the fact that whatever they say to us will go back to them and their entire generation.  Well, he who God has sent let no man curse.

In our church there are series of allegations raised against our elders in the people’s court, tell me do we shut up or speak out? Unarguably, no one can fight for God, but do you think God will do for men what men are supposed to do for themselves?

If you are disappointed with us in some areas over our posts, those who are wise will seek the face of God about them and see whether we are right or wrong.  Everyone misses a stone from time to time, no man can cross a river without getting wet. That we disagreed on everything has not warranted you to rein curses on us.

Let me tell you this, we are not bothered, we are moving forward and won’t give a shit about what anybody thinks or say about us. We have to do what we have to do.

One minute they curse, the next minute they are quoting scriptures. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? James 3:11

I rest my case for now. We shall bring every detail of the meeting to you in a jiffy. All the voices will be aired. Keep your fingers crossed!

  1. Prophet Bumie Adesina says:

The fact is that, the fold the church, the people belongs to God, and the shepherd is on God’s errand. Now, the shepherd will account for every member, and could be punish by God for mishandling, if the people report him to God. So also the people could be punish by God if the shepherd report back to God of their behavior. The compromise lies in his WORDS, and in his WORDS we can find the truth, if we meditate in it day and night.

Even at Points of Provocation, he Papa never does. But these Days, we see Shepherd on Pulpit raining curse on perceived provocators/enemy or on been provoked, rather than helping the offenders with prayers. Yet the Scriptures and the Lord enjoined Us to pray for our Enemies and leave their judgement an punishment to God.
Exactly what Papa SBJO advocates and teaches.

Am so disappointed in reading this post… CNO should make and get things right, as much as u are doing some good things u should also be careful of how u talk to ur elders, u are going too far my dear. Ask your self if you are doing God a service or fighting the church.
