Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being defined by pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy but when that pleasant emotion is now being traded for comments and opinions of other people, it brings nothing but disaster.
A lot of people even go as far as advertising their happy marriage on social media and when the ‘enemies’ catch up on them, they begin to bit their fingers with ‘Had I Known’ rhythm. In a world where everyone is over exposed, the coolest thing you can do is maintain your mystery. Your worth is not your measured in likes, comments, notes or followers; but in your ability to love, keep comments to yourself, take note and lead.
The truth is, the number of followers you have doesnt make you better than anyone else. So keeping a low profile will go a long way keeping you out of trouble. It will not lower your self-esteem, it’s not taken anything from you, the only thing it will take from you is overreaction from social media users.
So it’s advisable that the best moment of your life should not make it to social media. Dont use social media to impress people; use it to impact people. Remember that posts with emotional values get more shares. You don’t have to post it to prove it. Nothing good ever comes from too many people knowing about your opinion, being private and low-key is the best way to be.
Don’t advertise your kids’ achievements on social media.
Don’t advertise your pregnancy on social media.
Don’t advertise your expensive buys on social media. (Car, house etc)
No one is going to be happy for you. All the “nice” comments you get are just fake. You are just attracting the evil eye on you and your family. You are just attracting jealous people into your life. You don’t know who’s saving your pictures and checking your updates. You really need to stop this as it is going to ruin your life, family, marriage. Social media is the devils eyes, ears and mouth, don’t fall into the devils trap. To be forewarned is to be forearmed!
