Issues Of Concern For All Shepherds, Members Of CCC

I recall following our neighbor to one of the Anglican churches in our neighborhood back then. Holy Communion section, people who have done confirmation would come forward gently to the altar where the priest would serve them with the wine and bread as Holy Communion.

While the communion was going on, one priest would be in the position to share bread while the other priest would be responsible for giving wine to people with one golden cup. The priest would use tissue paper in his hand to clean the mouth of the cup before giving it out to the next person in line for usage.

In this kind of world and society, we find that people live and battle with various kinds of ailments silently in the church, but we should not forget that cleanliness is next to godliness. This means we should not take things for granted.

In CCC, a cup could be used to serve more than 30 (thirty) people with sanctified water at a time in the course of service. It is possible that sickness could have resulted from this course of action, which is why so many people became infected unknowingly.

The parish shepherd should make sure that there are sufficient cups that can serve more than many people at once without sharing the cups among members. After usage, it should be thoroughly washed and kept well before usage.
