Before you call me names, let me quickly borrow a word from John F. Kennedy, former President of America. “A revolution is coming; a revolution which will be peaceful if we are wise enough, compassionate if we care enough, successful if we are fortunate enough- but a revolution is coming whether we like it or not, we can affect its character but we cannot alter its inevitability.”
Celestial members have been sitting down for so long and we are not doing anything about fixing this church back to its original state. We are quick to say Emi nI, Oluwa yio se ise e., let me tell you today that those who do not move do not know how long they have been in chains, if the people are not doing things for themselves; God is not going to do it. It was when Phineas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest took a step that God stopped the ailment killing the Israelites. Just sit there and be deceiving yourself and let someone start telling you Ilana-Ilana to destroy the future of your church. The same Ilana they all fail to follow including the pastor and his followers. The constitution they all fail to obey, the words of the founder they all refused to respect and they are telling you not to revolt. I am sorry for the church.
I remember when I wrote the story of ‘Enemies of Ketu, a very top member of this church called me that I should desist from writing anything in his own views derogatory to the church, but, sincerely are these so called leaders not doing things derogatory to the church as well? Then a pastor’s aid and brother started a media campaign about my person that I am using the church to seek for fame, to the glory of God, I have my name written in the hall of fame as an un-bias reporter almost two decades ago, so, I laughed and I am still laughing, fame was not what I set out to achieve but fulfill my calling as a journalist and evangelist sent to one and all and in this instance the church to which I belong.
Albert Einstein once said that the world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it. To make things right and put Celestial church up there again, we need to have a revolution but it has to be a revolution of consciousness.
Anyone who tends to mend the fence and build the broken walls are usually tagged a traitor. So, for Sup. Evang. Omotosho, a.k.a. Jorotom, member of Board of Trustees and several province heads from Ketu to have come out to say No to tyranny, No to the way things are done in the church; then that simply means that the race to turn things around has begun. Our lives begin to lose its value, the day we become silent about things that matter.
What we simply ask for is that, Celestial church as a unit should have a structure. No man can come from nowhere and start destroying what has been built by great leaders of this church for 70 years now. Ijo Mimo ni eto, that eto should be respected. This new force is ready to go to any length to put things right with the voice of the people.
If the present crop of administrators at Ketu are well grounded in the doctrines and ways of the late pastor founder, I bet it that no man from this church will ever come out to lay claim to any pastoral title again, because, there will be unification of purpose and attainment of a common goal if the mischief makers in Ketu are checked and the appropriate structure is put in place, Celestial will come under a united body and this issue of one fold many pastors will never arise again due to the structure backed by the sanity of law and order.
Well, anyone who fails to adhere to the rule of law will have the wrath of God and laws of the land to wrestle with which I believe will not be tampered with by anyone. The reason things are like this about our church is just because for too long we have all looked the other way. Celestial will rise again!
