The issues and crises that the CCC is currently experiencing are fundamental. What can they just do if the foundation is destroyed?
Our emphasis on spirituality rather than developing a strong framework has been a significant setback for the church, and the result is what we are seeing in the world right now.
Other denominations will not view Celestial Church members as Christians if we don’t act and comport like Christians. Learning and relearning are beneficial. If the elders of this great commission get the chance to see the RCCG’s 70th convention, they should do so to gain insight into how Christians should conduct themselves in front of God.
The thuggery we exhibit in our large gatherings is ungodly and an indictment of us as uncultured humans to begin with.
Organizing committees shouldn’t spend millions of naira to pay soldiers and armed policemen to maintain order. It is embarrassing when police officers are controlling the crowd rather than protecting against external aggressors.
Our convocation should look like the gathering of saints and not a political rally or a union clash. What do you even expect from a team of men who are not well-placed in society? A team of cats and dogs ltd. men with questionable characters are behind the Imeko Convocation and you expect excellence! Ko possible Nah!
The foundation needs to be repaired and not built on a faulty foundation that can’t hold for long.
