That he contested an election and won is enough to dance and rejoice in the presence of God. Hon. Desmond Olusola Elliot representing Surulere Constituency 1 has displayed a sign of gratitude to God for the gift of life and good things that God has caused to be happening in his life.

No duty is more urgent than that of returning thank you. Though, it might be two years running, he still feels the most thoughtful gift of all is life and he’s appreciating God at Ayilara parish with his team. He might not be a bonafide member of the church but he’s somehow connected and he’s telling anyone who cares to know that God Is One!

How many of us think to appreciate God like this? Today is First Sunday service in the month of May, some of us will leave our home with nothing to thank God with, but if it’s an Owanbe party, our pocket would be filled with money to ‘spray’ at the party.

Saying thank you is more than good manners but it’s good spiritually to show it with some items. Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgiving, turn routine jobs into joy and change ordinary opportunity into blessing. Don’t drop N10 or N20 note into that offering tray, put thousands as displayed by the Nollywood star actor and producer, Desmond Elliot.

The greatest test of faith is when you don’t get what you want but still, you are able to say thank you Lord for everything!

Halleluiah!!!
