While rounding off updates on #CNO this morning, I stumbled on a post by one of our young and vibrant oracles in the vineyard, Omogbola Adewale. His post on our Hymn 605 caught my attention and I decided to peruse it. Having done that, I saw some necessary ingredients needed to make the article more appealing for your delight.
#OgoijoMimo# as Omogbola is fondly called said, “When dancing to the rhythm of CCC Holy Hymn 605 Ka Sowopo, Kajoyin Baba, “let’s us unite to praise our father” we don’t think deeply and know what’s the message in the hymn… We hardly think deeply about the lyrics in CCC hymns whenever we are in church to worship, why? Because we easily get distracted, most of us don’t prepare our minds when coming to the house of God to understand the true worship of Jehovah and everything attached to the doctrine…”
This particular hymn 605 stanza two states,
‘Accept Prayers, Lord of Celestial 2x
For the last church He sent down,
Sing Hosanna, sing Hosanna to the Lord God of Trinity.’
How do we expect God to accept prayers when we are not under one umbrella? The disciples of Jesus Christ our savior were able to have the Holy Spirit descended on them because they were in one accord, one mind, one spirit with their supplications to God of Trinity.
I think we should desist from choosing the song until we have one pastor and we members are able to restore the formation of the church which is Love back to its original state so that the last two stanzas can come to fulfillment in our lives. Halleluiah!
