Pentecost Sunday: The Outpouring Of The Spirit

Prophet Lanre Daniel wrote on his page;  “The Outpouring Of The Holy Spirit

The pouring out of God’s Spirit to fill and indwell people—was prophesied in the Old Testament and fulfilled at Pentecost (Acts 2).

This event was predicted in the Old Testament: in Isaiah 44:3 God said to Israel, “I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants._

On the day of Pentecost, Peter quoted another prophecy as being fulfilled: “I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. . . . And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Joel 2:28–29, 32).”

As written above, the people were with one voice, one spirit, soul and faith. It was them the Holy Spirt came to dwell upon them. We have to be frank with ourselves, no Holy Spirit is repeating itself as it was during the time of the Apostle. The people in the garment we have now are not in one accord. Even husband and wife have become sworn enemies, they are only smiling in the public to cover their devilish acts.

Or do we talk about several men we have that claim to be the genuine successor to the SBJ Oshoffa’s throne and you think any dove will come where there is division?

Let us just celebrate the juvenile harvest in peace and forget the expectation of any Holy Spirit because this generation will literally use the dove for pepper soup. It is that bad.

Individually, the Holy Spirit works wonders but for any leader to want to claim authority on this special occasion, the dove should use its wings to slap such a leader who deems fit to disrespect God in His Holiness.

Alleluia!
