Prophet Kayode Deji Nunayon, Shepherd Hephzibah Parish, Indianapolis, USA has been honored with a patronship position of the Voice of Salvation Mass Choir- VOSMAC.
The patronship and award plaque were meant to be presented to Oluso Deji on the 27th of October, 2022 during the big event but because of his absence due to one engagement or the order, the team of VOSMAC came to the church to honour him. The presentation was done shortly after at the 49th Adult Harvest of CCC Oke Odo Parish, Ibadan.
Why he was chosen as their patron? According to one of the leaders of the association, “based on his performance and impact in Celestial Church of Christ Western Region choirs as a foremost guitarist and a music enthusiast. He was one of the lead vocalists at Oke Ado at age 17, after being born at Yemetu and his contributions to these choirs in various capacities are things that qualified him to be chosen for this honour.”
In his speech, Deji thanked the association and said he was only carrying out his duty as a member of the church. He enjoins every choir member to be dedicated and continue to use their talents to advance the church and glorify God.
“There is a huge reward on earth and even in heaven for such a person who worships God with his talent. God is the giver of talents and using it to glorify His name is the greatest thing to do,” Deji concluded.
