To understand how Trance relates to us in Celestial Church of Christ, we need to understand first, what are the standing orders are when our prophets or prophetesses go on spiritual journey and their return after the stipulated days.
Understandably, Joel 2:28 has given us an insight into what trance is and what the gift of prophesy is but in our church, there are so many things we see that we need to clarify from concerned people.
Prophecy is said to be a “human transmission of allegedly divine messages” It is also classified as another distinctive branch of the consultation of the divine, which is generally known as ‘divination’.
But when a prophet or prophetess has not gone into trance, what are the arrangements to be made on his or her return (Isokale Emi)? We will appreciate a response from our spiritually sound prophets and prophetess.
This video, is it one of the ways to go about it in Celestial Church of Christ?

Abio, what they should address is the wrong way its being done. And the anormalies surrounding it. Not come here and tell us “inu emi is uncelestial church. If its not of celestial, is it of terrestrial?
Papa should have stopped woli adaba in the 70s from going into tarnce now.
Am grateful that this topic of so call ori oke is coming to light, I only hope Celestial churches in the USA will be told the truth and embrace it that it’s not Celestial proceedings and that the so called Shepard that embraces it should stop.
Let celestial be celestial
Please what do you mean when you said (Isokale emi)? Are you talking about normal trance of 10 to 20 minutes? Because anything apart from that is not Celestial proceedings. Celestial wolis don’t go on “Ori oke”, that act is a borrowed act from C&S. Many of our OLUSO or Elders called our Parishes “Ori oke” wrong words. Celestial parishes are referred to as “Ijo” in Yoruba. So, we bastardised all our rules and the young Celestial members that don’t know their right from left adopted what they see or hear. Celestial memebers don’t go on so called “Ori oke” if any woli is doing it in your parish, it is self invoked.

Self invoke of 21days without any eating abi sir?
And the likes of woli Adaba of the 70s self invoked it abi sir?
In one of his transit to heaven for 21days then where he was laid formed a sign of crucifixe , sir it was self made naa sir?
Going on trance (Gokeemi) is uncelestian.
