How time flies! It’s exactly a year today, Monday 15th of August, 2016 that the late wife of the late founder, SBJ Oshoffa, Elizabeth a.k.a. Iya Amidu finally bid this sinful world goodbye. She was buried in a carnival-like event at the mausoleum for Celestial saints, Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State.
The family and concerned members of the church have chosen Saturday, August 15, 2016 for the remembrance service (Amisa) for her at the International Headquarters, Ketu area of Lagos.
One of the daughters of the late amiable woman, Arewa Deborah Gbolasere Oshoffa hit her facebook Timeline to eulogise the good virtues of her late mother.
Hear her; “Today makes it exactly a year that mum was laid to rest after a fulfilled life spent. Mummy your burial was heroic…your works stood up for you…It has been tough without you though, no one has been able to fill your vacuum. No one to share my fears, problems and dreams and would not laugh at me behind. I miss your proud looks and smiles The way you change your look when upset. My no-nonsense but ever caring mummy. You loved your children too much. I lost a friend .Iya mi, Mama oni inu ire, Omo Ikoyi eso, aya Ojukoshoffa, I remain proud of you. Continue to rest in peace and remain our guardian angel MIC Elizabeth Oshoffa Nee Akadiri (Iya Amidu) you are so missed.
