Sermon In CCC: Preachers Should Focus More On The Mandate And Not ‘Mandatory’

Sometimes sermons taken by some shepherds in CCC are so boring because of the way they render them.

Most Celestians are always tired when their shepherds mount the pulpit and start to reel out gibberish in the name of the sermon. It’s so boring to most Celestians because they always wished they used their time for something else.

Why are these sermons so boring? They are boring because some of these shepherds talk too much about things that are not benefiting one’s soul., they focus on the mandatory, (Omo Ijo Mimo Ki n muti…, ki je elede…) and not the mandate of the church- winning souls for Christ.

Too many stories that are not related to the scriptural readings of the day and so on.

People want a heart-warming word of God, a word of hope and joy not stories that aren’t related or things that are of no concern about the church or sermon.

Nowadays most Shepherds in CCC talk more about the Celestial Church tenets without diving deeply into the word of God to buttress their points. Why is the Celestial Church of today isn’t the same as that of old?

We need the raw word of God to console the brokenhearted and to give hope to the hopeless, that is what is needed to win souls into the Kingdom. Celestial Church was borne out of preaching the gospel of Christ to the world, that is our primary mandate.

Sometimes most members don’t jot anything during the sermon, they have nothing to write down because they aren’t getting any vibes from what they are listening to. The concept has to change if we are to cleanse the world.
