(Sequel to the last post on Seyi) 
The fame, love and warmth that was constantly coming his way was never enough to give him the desired satisfaction, on several occasion, he had personal revelation through dreams asking him to go back to the church and sing for the Lord. Just like so many of us would, Seyi, was always quick to discountenance such as nothing but mere silly dreams. This continued for some years until the most unusual happened. On this particular day, after an eventful time at a musical concert, this show stopper, Oluseyi got home and was at the peak of ruffling the sheet, when his partner, a total foreigner was overtaken by the Holy Spirit and started giving messages, repeating the same things that Seyi Solagbade decided to ignore. The crux of the message was, ’go back home and serve the Lord with what He has deposited in you.
To prove the awesomeness of God concerning the personal revelation, Oluseyi was receiving through dreams as conveyed by this white girlfriend at that time in London brought Seyi to a speechless state when she started giving out messages to him in his local Yoruba dialect which she has never spoken for a second prior to that time. She told Seyi everything concerning his background, his sojourn in the esoteric world of music and what would be the aftermath of his refusal should he reject the message. She said he would become a vessel of dishonor.
At this point, it became obvious to the ‘runaway talent’ that like the proverbial gold fish that has no hiding place, he can no longer run or hide from his calling a s a gospel artiste. This is the reason behind his 2015 album titled “Return To God.”
Seyi’s dexterity can be termed to be limitless, as he is always at sea with any genre of music and he is always a delight to watch on any musical instrument particularly the saxophone and organ.
Now as you are reading this, Seyi is back to the church, he worships somewhere in Ikorodu and has chosen not to join any choir but would rather sit with and groom the juvenile choristers. Despite all this, no help has come his way, our church does not care about talents not because we don’t have the resources but we have been carried away with things of the world to the detriment of the words and commandment concerning the levites and the choristers in the church. They have failed to follow the way of Zerubbabel and Nehemiah.
Nehemiah 12: 45-47
45 They performed the service of their God and the service of purification, as did also the musicians and gatekeepers, according to the commands of David and his son Solomon. 46 For long ago, in the days of David and Asaph, there had been directors for the musicians and for the songs of praise and thanksgiving to God. 47 So in the days of Zerubbabel and of Nehemiah, all Israel CONTRIBUTED THE DAILY PORTIONS FOR THE MUSICIANS and the gatekeepers. They also set aside the portion for the other Levites, and the Levites set aside the portion for the descendants of Aaron.
Nehemiah 13 verses 4-5.
How can this happen to Seyi? Celestial has lost a talent.
It has become an issue in Cele. The leaders think you have to work for God. Why would such happen when there is no resources to do that.
Halleluyah I think is high time we come together to build this great Church under the umbrella of CELESTIAL PROFESSIONALS.
