The Mistake That Baba Banjo Must Correct As The Only Living Member Of The Original Seven Trustees Before He Exits The Stage

Reading this letter signed by three prominent members of this church first will make you understand my position on why I called Rev EMF as not being chosen by the Holy Spirit. Two of the Baba are already dead, the one left and the only man standing is all the church has to do the needful before he leaves the stage.

Corporate Affairs Commission, Area 11, Garki, Abuja

Dear Sir,

This is to inform the Commission that a new Pastor has been appointed by Celestial Church of Christ in the person of Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa.

At the Pastor-in-Council (highest decision making organ of Celestial Church of Christ) meeting held on the 9th January 2003, it was unanimously resolved that the said Rev. Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa be appointed as a Trustee of Celestial Church of Christ, and as Pastor, automatically becomes the Chairman Board of Trustees.

We hereby urge the Commission to lift the Caveat entered by us by virtue of our letters dated 11th December 2001 solely for the purpose of registering Rev. Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa as a Trustee of the Church.
We thank the Commission for your usual cooperation in this regard.

Yours faithfully,
Senior Evangelist S.O. Banjo

The above letter has just revealed how Rev. EMF was wrongly appointed. That is the major mistake Baba Banjo must correct before exiting the stage. It is very troubling because it clearly shows the illegitimacy of his appointment. Baba Banjo probably has realised with much regret that appointing Rev. EMF was a grievous error that must be corrected in his lifetime. There was no mention of the Holy Spirit or Section 111 of the Constitution in this letter. This was a strictly artificial appointment that opposed the written and verbal will of the Pastor Founder, SBJ Oshoffa.

The fact that members of the Pastor-in-Council appointed Rev. EMF directly violates section 144 of the 1980 CCC Constitution. That was a significant error. From the letter’s tone, Members of the PIC bent over backwards to accommodate Rev. EMF as Pastor and Trustee. Little did they know that the person they thought they were helping would illegally conspire
with troublemakers to hurt the registered Trustees as an indirect way to hold on to his illegal occupancy of a juicy position.

It appears that greed and hedonistic ambition is the primary driver for such a covert operation. However, for Rev EMF to turn around and fire the only living registered Trustee that appointed him was a colossal miscalculation. What Rev. EMF and his cronies thought would be an easy coup turned out to have more legal landmines than anticipated. By the time they realised their errors, it was probably too late to retrace their steps.

How can an illegitimate Pastor fire a legitimate member of the Board of Trustees? #CNO was able to pull out four significant flaws from the letter. To Be Continued
