The bible made us to understand that there is time for everything. Ecclesiastes 3:5 tells us that there is time to gather stones and time to throw stones. At the time the children of Israel met with Goliath, they were already used to using metal weapons for war and protection. They didn’t understand that, it was not the time to carry metal weapon. The Israelites didn’t understand that the situation at hand didn’t require metal weapons. David knew that it was time to throw stones, He saw that the situation at hand did not require metal weapons but gathering and throwing of stones. But God was involved in His life. He threw his stones in the name of God. (1Samuel 17:45-46)
Brethren it is possible that you have used skills or knowledge in your business, academics, marriage, relationships and so on and have experienced little or no change; I will like to let you know that “it’s time to throw stones”. The stone here is typologies as prayers. It’s time to talk to God about that ugly situation.
