What Is Expected Of You During Investitute (Iwuye)

Many people in the church are really saturated psychologically because of what to cook, what to spend, and what to wear. Many have made loan sharks their friends; some are in debt, and many have gone bankrupt or will go bankrupt in the name of investiture (iwuye).

Investiture is very essential after anointment in CCC, but the way many take investiture is as if it is a competition or an avenue to show off. Let us not forget that fingers are never equal and will never be equal on any account, but if you are blessed abundantly, you can celebrate in grand style, but this should not be a yardstick for everyone, whether the person is financially buoyant or not, must we make investiture glamorous?

Many shepherds are not preaching what is expected when it comes to iwuye, but many parishes have seen it as a means of generating money for the church account, which is part of the reasons many are going bankrupt.

Investiture (iwuye) can be done collectively without inviting people or cooking, e.t.c. It is a new task given to function in another capacity.

Buy materials and wear what you can afford and not until you do more than yourself because of a-one day event. All that is expected of you is to use your anointing for the work of God with all humility and much endurance.
