The first time I met the writer of this piece, Amara Blessing Nwosu, she appeared to me as an angel, I thought it was just a flash in the pan but after several other meetings, I now discovered that, angels truly are living with us. She is one of them. Amara is married to another friend of mine, Francis Van-Lere, they both live in the United States loving up and exploring the world. Reading about this from Amara, I knew it would be a good material to use on #CNO for our readers, most especially my family in the Celestial fold to benefit from. I thought I should share it with you.

“I hear preachers tell people to come to Christ for better and sweet life. Hear the truth: Your life may get worse and tougher when you are in Christ. This is not to say that God doesn’t care. He cares but He hasn’t said you won’t go through fire. He only promised to be with you when you go through that fire or water. This is where the Morenikeji Jannydifference lies; the more you go through the fire with Christ, the more beautiful and outstanding you become. Yes, it’s not always easy and palatable. It’s an experience no one prays to go through. But life is about sunshine and rainfall, night and day. If you want a balanced and enviable life that will outshine every darkness, you must get ready and make up your mind to go through that darkness without it holding you down.

I know how it feels because I have been there and I am still ready to go through it for another greater height. I know how frightened you are seeing yourself in the middle of the sea and your boat hit to and fro by storms of life. I know you always feel like running elsewhere to seek help. I know what you feel like saying to Jesus as you look and behold him sleeping with pillows in that same boat. But don’t forget this: woe to those who go down to Egypt for help. Jesus was sleeping because He’s the Lord over the storms of life. The most important thing is to have Him in your boat; this guarantees safe journey in the midst of storms.

Someday, He shall arise and calm every storm in your life. He shall speak extraordinary peace to your life. Those who feel you are gradually going with the storm shall arise and say,” what manner of man is this”. The only sure security you have is Jesus. Keep holding on to Him, make sure He is in your boat and all shall be well.”
